UDT Team
Yunhong Gu is the architect and lead developer of UDT. Dr. Gu is a veteran open source developer as well as an expert in high speed networking and high performance computing. In addition to UDT, he also leads the development of another open source project Sector/Sphere, a high performance distributed storage and computing platform (Cloud Computing).
Currently, Dr. Gu works as a research scientist for the National Center for Data Mining (NCDM) at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He is also the founder and principal consultant of VeryCloud, which provides commercial service for UDT.
Robert Grossman is the Founder and Managing Partner of Open Data Group. He has over twenty years experience in information technology, analytics, business intelligence, direct marketing, e-business and related fields. His blog is: blog.rgrossman.com.
He is also the Director of the Laboratory for Advanced Computing (LAC) and the National Center for Data Mining (NCDM) at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
